From humble beginnings in our pilot town of Banbury, where we have proven that a fully-delivered hourly EV hire service can replace car ownership through our work with Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford University, the company is expanding into numerous other towns, villages and cities in the UK. By working in partnership with Zimbl, we can help you deliver successful outcomes, not just in transport terms; but across health, happiness, wellbeing and of course CO2 reductions. Once up and running we can help you achieve a healthy ROI in a variety of ways.
The company is also in planning stages with several major national developers to provide their ‘Z-Hub’ ecosystems within several large residential projects to include a Z-Café, Z-Work (Co-Working) and a Brompton Bike Hub in partnership alongside their full multi-modal EV hire model.
Haddenham
We have provided Haddenham with two MG5 electric cars and these are co-branded with Haddenham Parish Council’s logo. They are based out of their offices in the centre of the village and Zimbl is providing at least one member of staff to manage the vehicles, ensure they are clean and fully-charged and deliver them for each booking.
The relationship is based on an initial annual trial followed by an agreement that will provide several revenue possibilities to the council. They have no risk attached with providing the service and we cover all the maintenance costs and insurance.
The Parish Council canvassed their community properly with a survey (which we can also help with) and the overwhelming response was that everyone wanted a ‘delivered to the door’ service. As Zimbl is the only company in the UK providing such an EV only sustainable offering we were chosen without need for lengthy and costly procurement processes. The utilisation is already way beyond our best expectations.
